Welcome to Farmer Fencing, LLC
Shane Farmer founded Farmer Fencing in 2022. He was born and raised on a farm in Pulaski County in South West Virginia where fences are common and necessary for livestock, privacy, safety and security. Farmer Fencing is a small, family-owned company and believes in guaranteeing their work and always striving for the best quality. “We want to build what the customer wants, rather than building something that simply makes things easier on us. We’re here to please the customer.”
Farmer Fencing builds mainly agricultural style fencing for farms, but we build residential fencing and some commercial fencing. We are licensed and insured.

We build for cattle, horses, sheep, goats, dogs, cats and any just about any animal. We also work with the FSA (Farm Service Agency) on government projects.
Types of Fencing
Board Fencing
Board fencing, a traditional and versatile option for agriculture, uses wooden boards attached to posts, often used for livestock containment, perimeter security, and aesthetic appeal, and can be combined with other fencing types for enhanced security.
Woven Wire Fencing
A woven wire fence is constructed by weaving horizontal and vertical wires together to create a strong, flexible mesh, typically used for livestock containment and property boundaries.
High Tensile
A high-tensile fence is a type of fencing that uses smooth, high-strength wire, typically made of steel, to create a strong and durable barrier, often used for livestock containment.
Barbed Wire
A “barbed wire fence” is a fence constructed using strong wire with sharp points or barbs spaced along its length, primarily used as a security measure to deter intruders or animals.
Privacy Fencing
A privacy fence is a type of fence designed to obscure the view from outside, providing a barrier for privacy and security, often constructed with solid materials like wood or vinyl.
